Natural High School

Vincent van Gogh never went to art school. Or at least he dropped out. I think. He also had no friends. Artistic friends that is. His brother, due to financial shortcomings and wrong expectations, kept him alive, and wasn't the cause for his death. Vincent van Gogh's right leg was shorter than his left, so he could only go for short walks. That's why he didn't get around much. He didn't live the middle class life he was born in. Perhaps he was an orphan. I believe he was a missionary or at least studied theology. He wanted God to witness his creation through his eyes. His eyes were extremely observant of course, though he said he couldn't see in all colors. I don't know what he meant by that. His life though ending tragic was one of the most celebrated after the fall of Nazism. No one had time to mourn his death, some just didn't take notice. I swear he's still alive somewhere. Maybe he's watching us from heaven, because that is where he wanted to go right? I guess, though it's hard to believe that anyone actually care about a dead person known for his fits of mania and shameful suicide. He was a drunk and a whore mongeror, a pathetic invalid, someone that wanted fame like any artist thinks they should.

The reason why we're discussing Vincent van Gogh today is because we want to become like him. We want masculanize art and feminize its reception. A tight bum, and a nice curve. Yes that's it. Stranger. Basically whatever you do someone else already has done. Studied, intercepted, created, emulated, you name it.

Are we human? What is a human? Vincent van Gogh only painted humans. He has never created one. Was he a human? As in, did he even consider any intellectual activities apart from his obsession with pictures? Is this where Freud comes in, and was perhaps inspired by? Psychology. The masochist that man has become. Man the animal is now stuck in a stereotype, where his modern outlook on life needs to be abided by, as long as it is not equally in sight destructive, heart wrenching, and abusive, and exploitative. The most famous brands hates all. Only money they serve. Neo-liberalism has caused this angst. Vincent van Gogh couldn't handle the modern world encroaching upon his creations. He hated so-called progress for profit. He hated that men had to suffer, and that Gods were treated like Angels. He hated that man became under the impression that they're godlike. He despised progress in the name of militarism. The real world. Not some rich entrepreneurs wet-dream, but rather what Stalin and Lenin proposed. A world at war.
