On philosophy
So let's be honest and create a scope
of the field of philosophy.
It is by far the saddest conclusion
that man misunderstand what philosophy is and what it has become. It
has become unessential. It has become tyranny. It has become opinion.
Philosophy in itself is merely expression of the unknown. What is
possible, and what is important. Not opinion. Merely dialogue.
Friedrich Nietzsche said that the universe is time, and that time can
be slowed down. Does that sound like a philosophical statement? Does
that imply opinion? No it's more scientific than philosophical. It is
more idea than opinion or decision. It is what it is as some say, but
does it hold up to scrutiny? Does it explain what needs to be
explained? Modern day philosophy, or that which is labelled as such,
tries to create scenarios of man, but fails to recognize the validity
and assumption of these scenarios. Are they realistic? Are they
necessary? Are they fact? In most cases philosophy of today
pronounces situation. It describes New York City without mentioning
the Grand Canyon. It is losing its importance in the 21st
century because it is wrongly represented. That is why Nietzsche is
still king of philosophical dialogue. But only to the extent of
published and commercial media representing the philosophical field.
Surely there are many philosophers out there, unheard of, that
declares statements of truth without seeking recognition.
We can also credit that which is real,
instead of being journalists. The world is filled with journalists.
Gossip queens and beggars of note. Philosophy has become that and one
can assume that it will never end. That publishing houses prefer to
monitor and sanction writings or ideas for the sake of consumer
belief. We are now a consumer driven society. Because of consumption
and declaration. The liberal has become the fascist. The god has
become a tyrant. But that is not philosophy and that is not
important. One can write all what one wants and still not discuss
philosophy in its natural and intended sense because of the motives
behind it. We can declare what we want, but what is real, and what is
true? What lies as a shadow over us ALL? That is what science has
tried to achieve, but failed. That is what commercial philosophy
tried to achieve, but failed. Basically what is the overriding
thought that needs to be answered by philosophers? Not idea, or
belief, but rather fact. In Nietzsche's words again, 'Man will only
conquer himself when he dies'. As in to empower man, he has to commit
suicide. He has to deliver his own fate. He can go in circles for
eternity and still not be satisfied. He will never be satisfied until
death consumes him. He will only become what he is, when he dies. As
in, not through living will he know the truth. This is what religion
has tried to answer for quite some time, but failed to maintain over
the populace during its course. Now scientists explain the nature of
reality without providing proof or relevance. Does that nihilize the
purposes of religion and science? Does philosophy also fail by not
answering or continuing to answer or influence during its reign? Can
man ever regret reform? Does life in the human sense at all explain
what death is? According to us all, death is the end. Death is the
end of this life. It is perhaps the beginning of a new life in
heaven. But what Nietzsche says is that man is only aware of life. He
cannot be aware of death because the tools he utilizes to live life
becomes obsolete in death. That is why he says that the eternal
return happens only once. As in, for eternity (forever basically) we
live for eternity. All things imaginable, and consistent with
reality, is not a dream, but a reality that never ceases until one
does. Many religions utilize this thinking clearly like Zen Buddhism,
yet does not acknowledge the requirements in man to live that life
without an outlook on this exact life. Nietzsche says that we need to
not understand, but we need to live. And most men either don't get a
chance to live, as is caused by fascism, or right-wing liberalism,
and also those not knowing what living is. Some expect it to be a
variety of experiences, where Nietzsche says clearly that experience
is not real. It is merely the illusion of reality to give reality
substance. Napoleon said religion is the opiate for the masses that
defines experience, but fails to acknowledge that experience is the
opiate for the masses that are not religious. Drugs in modern culture
determines outlook. Opinion determines outlook and conception. He is
what he is, because that's what he is. Basically life cannot be
experienced by those that are alive. Not because there is no living
reality, but because consciousness cannot define reality, because
reality is not consciously defined.
