The standard is set (work in progress)

The birth and death of Democracy – our supposed declaration of independence and freedom.

The premise of this essay is to conclude, perhaps finally, that our socio-economic structure is enforcement of hierarchy, similarly to our socio-political structure. The relation we have to this phenomenon is not permanent or required, though we have succumbed to its broadcasts of higher ideals and goals resembling that of what we only mentally may perceive, and perhaps believe through our action towards inaction, as in the worker serves and the boss caters. We are not worker bees or ants; we are mammals driven by passion and the need for sustenance. Or so we believe at least. The perception of truth is merely as is, a resolution to what is, and not what is “required”. The enforcement of hierarchy is degrading to an animal supposedly equal to itself. But let’s not digress.

Capitalism enforces ownership and hierarchy (or bureaucracy), it substantiates living to a pretentious goal or purpose, therefor similarities, or origin, is found in Democracy the political ideal, supposedly declaring our independence and unity. Though this is misleading, and perhaps destructive, to say the least. We allow ourselves to regard ourselves as a being driven by sophistication and intelligence that subordinates us to our highest ideals and goals. In impoverished societies you can see it best. The advent of Democracy or independence from Fascism or Monarchism has brought a substantiable focus on improving the lives of its citizens through governance, business (or investment) regarding prosperity. Where prosperity equals liberation, cleanliness, and perhaps freedom. The freedom to choose, but what exactly is up for grabs? The liberation from what, especially different from enforcement of prosperity and the stereotype created, through its upholding, that wealth equals power or liberation and the perception of exquisiteness or in short, trust. That a moral citizen is a wealthy citizen, and that a wealthy citizen is a moral citizen. An example is corruption in the corporate sphere, usually its degrading to witness, but belief in truth and honesty usually falls onto the board of directors and not the sanitation department or security. That what you do, is more important than, that you do. We all are equals, but only on a superficial basis, and not a literal constitutional basis. The corporate environment has created scandal, gossip, secrecy, and the degradation of man (and woman) to a slave based on economic, social, and business standard or control. In a Democratic society we allow this, but why is it ignored, other than the source of this Democratic structure, which I believe to be Capitalism.

To assume, that order, or plan, or idea, is not enforced or coerced onto another, is denial. We see daily the government do its utmost to protect us, and assist us where needed, and when they fail, we claim they are corrupted or lazy. We somehow think that the corporate environment, that which exploits us and rewards us, rather is not the enemy of the State, the entity determining how we should go about living our lives, and buying public property for nefarious financial gain, whether it’s an investment firm, or a contact center, or a private hospital. Our whole existence is taken away and driven away from the Government, the trust endowed unto them and unto us, our sense of freedom, to deny us access and control through the realization of Democratic ideals, which the corporate supposedly better allows, but is denied through advertising, propaganda, and subversive American Neo-Liberalist lifestyles sold, as in the get-rich-quick scheme, or the fame and fortune idea, or the beautification of our genders through superficial means, causing ugliness and unattractiveness to be discarded and not be associated with health, but rather with wealth.

The schism is where it is. Right in front of us. Declaring us enslaved, under control, captured, poisoned, and denigrated.  Monarchism will end. Fascism will be enforced under the umbrella or what is scientifically proven. A healthy mental state is a cultivated domestic sense of respect or removal of invasion. We, as citizens are not allowed to invade, but corporations, and even the government may know all things about you, but for one is up to no good, does not mean the other is. The realization is that governments are stuck in a geographical state, whereas corporations can go where they want, even inside our homes from their server rooms, boardrooms, or islands of escape. This animal clearly controls nature, even changing its climate, so what else is it capable, willing, and tolerated, to control? The question has no answer for it will not change, for when it is, we will be denied our citizenship, and our liberation, fought for, and expected. We cannot assume that corporations do not want to make a substantial profit, but for them to get away with robbery, they must include us into their gang, through employment and investment. We now empower them just to empower ourselves. We respect them, where in their eyes we’re only a number or login.

The origin of this mentality supposedly is the division of private ownership from public inheritance. Governments in a Western sense is not corporately controlled or envisaged. A prosperous nation, which can only be done through financial acquisition and expenditure, has more of a say, than an island nation such as Samoa, who’s main export is probably some exotic fruit or aquatic animal, standing no chance, other than through subservience to a corporate capitalist demagogy promising it independence through alliance to its feeding schema, and investment in its citizens livelihood, where sadly, when that corporation leaves, for lack of profit, the citizens will be in less of a good state, and the government even worse, for the citizen has lost interest in its public heritage, and its personal growth, which has been substantiated up till this point in time by technology and privacy created in disguise, by the affluent corporation based in China, Europe, or North America. When that happens, unlawfulness and disorder take control, through nefarious means such as criminality, as in the underworld. Even so, this is not a solution, but temporary, for the wicked woman also ages, and becomes a wrinkled dried out peach. We salute all things, but ourselves and our governments.

Greta Thunberg said that the realization man will have, is that he has no power for his power is limited only to expression which is duly ignored by those claiming to be sophisticated, educated, moral, and important through their financial status which has been found criminally, without restraint, exposing the weakness set by Democracy, which has been founded, according to me, by this structure, that controls the invaluable rights of humankind, Capitalism. She (Greta) is still young, and perhaps in a general sense, inept, for no one heeds her call, and those that do, are merely like her. A copy of a copy. Naomi Klein said it best. The corporate world is the government hijacked. The standards of motive, and respect, and dedication, is enslavement, for a business, whether large or small, is all about profit. The most respected businessmen are merely as is, sharks in a goldfish tank. This is worrisome, for our whole belief structure, whether ancient or not, is now limited to subservience to goal. That to win, is better, and more important, than to succumb. Too many times have we seen this, but only in some far-off nation, which we had no interest in in the first place, which is interesting, for we live on a planet, but don’t even regard our neighbors as our friends or family. We depend, in short, only onto those that alleviate our suffering and effort temporarily, in the present, which is supposedly permanent, our future.
